This video is Part 10 in our Franna crane project and we’re getting the boom removed off the crane before inspecting it for damage. First, we work on lowering and disconnecting the boom lift cylinders before removing the wiring and pins that connect the boom to the crane. We then lift the boom from the crane and get on to inspecting it for any damage, but as we suspected, getting access to the boom extension cylinder and parts to be repaired is NOT going to be easy! Stay tuned for the next part of our project!
