Mat’s lining up in a Ford Mustang, and he’s about to go head-to-head against a 2008 Dodge NASCAR! But which will come out on top - Dodge, or Ford? Well for starters, let’s check out the stats. The NASCAR is powered by a naturally-aspirated V8 that can deliver 900hp and 730Nm of torque (although it’s currently producing around 700hp). This power is sent to the rear wheels via a 4-speed manual gearbox, and the car weighs in at just 1,400kg. In terms of monetary value, it’s worth around £100,000. Then alongside it, we have the road-going Ford Mustang. This is powered by a 5-litre naturally-aspirated V8 that can produce 451hp and 527Nm. This power is sent to the rear wheels only via a 10-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox, and the car tips the scales at 1,843kg. If you’re looking to pick one up now, it’ll cost around £50,000.
