Cutting a path of abstract-leaning elation and forthright danciness, the St Petersburg-based pair has us covered with four-tracks spanning a wide range of styles and tropes, seamlessly connecting the dots betwixt zero-G bass manoeuvres, sensually overwhelming prog build-ups and a sheer touch of quirky and immersive otherworldliness. Fusing the ubiquitous horsepower of thunderous subs with the narrative edge of the finest deep-house epics, 'Epsilone' gets the ball rolling with outstanding rhythmic verve and transfixing flamboyance, as it eases us in a suspended headspace, halfway utter euphoria and melancholy-drenched atmospherics. An earwormy Italo racer, 'Hope' trades the opener's breaksiness for upfront fast-lane-ready, floor-it attitude.
