Icelandic Volcano Erupts Again The same volcano north of the Icelandic fishing town of Grindavik that erupted in December has spewed forth lava again, leaving the Icelandic Meteorological Office to warn that this time the magma could “migrate further south“ towards the town itself. Authorities have declared a state of emergency as the town was partially left without electricity after residents were evacuated Saturday following a series of earthquakes. The lava field created after the December eruption can be seen in the image above, appearing as a dark area in the background. Subscribe to RT Источник: RT News
