GPS measurements in the Svartsengis area show that the land surface is stable. 2. If magma accumulation continues at a similar rate as recently, the most likely scenario is that another magma flow and possible eruption will occur in the Sundhnúks crater series as a result. 3. Warning of an impending eruption can be very short, as little as 30 minutes. 4. Seismic activity around the Sundhnúks crater series remains very low. 5. Risk assessment is unchanged.
