Hello! I represent the model assembled from paper. This is a set from the publishing house “Paper Modeling“ Turkish armored cruiser “MECIDIYE“ for the state of 1903. The author of the development of the model is Alexander Kustov. This cruiser is best known for her participation in the First World War. On April 3, 1915, the Turkish fleet consisting of the cruisers “Medzhidie“, “Hamidiye“ and a group of destroyers participated in the shelling of Odessa. But during this operation “Medzhidie“ was blown up by a Russian mine. 26 people were killed. The cruiser began to sink and threw itself into shallow water. The destroyers removed the rest of the crew and later finished off, fired a torpedo at it. The cruiser plunged into the sea along the upper deck.
