Xi summarizes achievements of China's medical assistance to Algeria

Visit: Chinese President Xi Jinping held talks with Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune in Beijing on Tuesday. Xi pointed out that this year marks the 60th anniversary of China sending its first medical team to Algeria and the 60th anniversary of the sending of the first Chinese Medical Team abroad. He noted that China has sent 27 medical teams and 3,522 medical workers to Algeria, treated more than 27 million people and delivered more than million babies over the last six decades.
