“Let’s Build a Succah“ A song for Succot composed and performed by Stephen Melzack from his “Two Candles Burn“ album. This festival remembers when the Jewish people wandered through the desert after the Exodus from Egypt. They built temporary flimsy huts - “Succah’s“ through which they could see the stars at night. The Etrog - Citron fruit and the Lulav - Palm leave are shaken together in all directions to symbolise sweetness and goodness “Two Candles Burn“ is an exciting concept in new and original songs for the Jewish Festivals. They were composed by him as he felt the time was right to create a fresh approach through music to stimulate and interest children (and adults) with each song carefully written to capture the essence of the Festivals.
