Rhodolite garnets

The Elahera region of Sri Lanka 🇱🇰 has long been known for some of the best blue sapphires in the world, many rivaling those of Kashmir. Today however I want to share with you another amazing gem found in the Elahera region with an outstandingly spectacular quality and size. All five of these Rhodolite garnets were recently mined from the shallow gravels here in the Elahera region of Sri Lanka. With a superb size and clarity, the rich intense red color has no problem letting itself be known. 🍒 While it’s somewhat harder to tell in the video, the three smaller pieces show off a slight orange under-hue in certain light’s.
