I have been baking Christmas Cakes from my Nana's traditional recipe for about 8 years now for family friends and work colleagues. They (apart from Family) have always told me I should bake them and sell them to the world as they have never tasted Christmas Cake like this, its unique and they love it. while I totally agree with them I see a few problems that makes it all daunting for me so was just looking for some advice if possible. What direction is best for me to take? With it only been Christmas Cake my worry is that it is seasonal, therefore only income would be Christmas Time. Would I be better selling on a local market from a stall or a van around November time?and keep working? How would I go about funding something like this? I mean would it be something that could be funding by my working wage? My dream is to see my Nana's Cake becoming a household product and be the cake everyone wants at Christmas time.
