Hollywood Palladium, Los Angeles, CA, United States. March 1st, 2001. Almost full audio of this show recorded by an unknown member of the audience. Despite almost the full show was recorded, “Me and My Friends“ cuts out and the whole encore set was not recorded (including “Soul to Squeeze“ and “Search and Destroy“). Benefit show called “A Night for Gloria“ and organized in benefit of Gloria Scott, a drug councilor who was fighting cancer who helped the band during their fight with drugs. Several months later, she passed away and the band wrote “Venice Queen“ as a tribute to her in their later new album “By The Way“. Highlights of this show includes a rare performance of “Pretty Little Ditty“ (a song which was not performed in full since more than 11 years on 1990). Also, some photos taken from this show were included. ====TIMESTAMPS==== 00:00:00 Jam to “Around The World“ *fades in* 00:01:11 Around the World 00:05:34 You’re Gonna Get Yours (tease) 00:06:29 Give It Away 00:11:00 Outro jam of “Give It Away“ 00:12:18 Your Pussy’s Glued to a Building on Fire (John Solo) 00:13:52 Scar Tissue 00:17:39 My Lovely Man 00:23:25 If You Have to Ask 00:27:52 Drum solo to “Skinny Sweaty Man“ 00:28:17 Skinny Sweaty Man 00:30:12 Otherside 00:34:35 John telling the audience that “Pretty Little Ditty“ was the first song ever written in the band 00:35:05 Pretty Little Ditty [[first full performance since 1990]] 00:37:25 Parallel Universe 00:42:43 Hello, Hello, I’m Back Again [John Solo] 00:43:47 I Could Have Lied 00:48:49 Californication 00:54:12 London Calling (tease; instrumental) 00:54:22 Right on Time 00:56:21 Under the Bridge *fades in* 01:00:15 Me and My Friends *cuts out* Encore: ---XX--- Soul to Squeeze ---XX--- Search and Destroy Notes: - A curious moment of this show: John broke a string during “Around The World“ [03:45] - Missing the first seconds of “Under The Bridge“, part of “Me And My Friends“ and the whole encore set (“Soul to Squeeze“ and “Search and Destroy“) - Photo gallery was included - You can see some reviews of this show at this link: Credits: - Photo credits to Seth Benkle
