Laminar Flow returns, this time on the Know Wave frequencies for a 3rd instalment of it’s new-fangled mix series, distinguishing itself from the predictable by bringing you atypical sounds from all corners of the electronic music spectrum. Designed to exhilarate the auditory cortex and leave the listener introduced to but acquainted with off-kilter sonics, a quality that Laminar Flow takes pride in. This month’s guest mix comes from Anna Morskaya of Digitonica, a producer, singer, composer and multimedia artist hailing originally from Samara, now residing in Saint-Petersburg. Producing incredibly introspective works, using a mixture of vocal techniques, sewn together into musical works governed by avant-garde styles that draw influences from glitch, techno and romantic classical music manipulated into contemporary forms riddled with deconstructed percussion.
