Lucy Woodward - A Flower Is A Lovesome Thing Stream/Buy here: Vinyl & CD: Louk Boudesteijn’s arrangement of “A Flower Is A Lovesome Thing” and its intriguing mixture of fragility and wildness, gave us a clear vision of the complex musical/emotional scope we would strive for with The Rocketeers. Singing amidst all of this beautiful space between a gong and a lingering soliloquy bass clarinet in the first minute and a half, won my heart. This arrangement is an absolutely journey. When it’s over, I feel like I've just travelled somewhere and came back.
