Second release from this killer project part of the Ancient Hounds circle, a collective on the forefront of the recent uprising of Belgian Black Metal, which gathers acts like Crypts of Wallachia, Selenite Scrolls, Orkblut and Phlegethon's Majesty. Excellent furious medieval Black Metal, bringing forth honor and wrath, as well as a darkened haze of malignant blasphemy, upon the scorched earth by the blazing battles for glory. A cold blizzard of 90's rooted riffage, brimming with blood-pumping fury, but an excellent sense of melancholy and strife, perfectly matched by the subtle but ever present synth work. Much inspired by French strains of Black Metal like Bekhira or Osculum Infame, but also reminiscing with Judas Iscariot or, more recently, Chätiment. Released on CD via Medieval Prophecy Records.
