Frantic travellers have shelled out thousands of dollars to secure flights home after a massive tech outage brought airlines to a halt. Despite the worldwide outage, some US tourists managed to secure a ride home through one bizarrely unaffected airport. Some travelers revealed that they paid almost $6,800 in order to secure a flight from Scotland's Edinburgh airport. The global outage brought many traveler's plans to a screeching halt.
