The South Korean coder and designer Yehwan Song creates innovative ways of presenting content with a unique aesthetic and experimental approach. She is using the computer as her tool to make experimental websites and interactive graphics. Her main interest lies in reversing the general understanding of web design as well as creating content focused websites. She sees herself combining her coding skills with the traditional grounding in design principles. Through her practice she challenges the notion of user friendliness, interface conventions and standardized templates. Yehwan strongly feels that the web should be more playful, and her mission is to make people know this, to bring back content awareness about designing interfaces.
