ATR-72/600 Landing at Toncontin Airport, Tegucigalpa, Honduras, from inside the cockpit.

This is my landing as seen from inside the cockpit of the ATR-72/600 at the airport of Toncontin in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. Toncontin Airport was ranked by History channel as the second most extreme airport in the world. In order to land in runway 02, an aircraft must circle using visual references on the ground due to the irregular and high terrain around the airport. Very often ground proximity alarms will be triggered approaching the final due to the nature of the terrain (minute 1:29 in the video). ---‐--------------- Este es mi aterrizaje visto desde la cabina de mando del ATR-72/600 en el aeropuerto Toncontin en Tegucigalpa, Honduras. El aeropuerto Toncontin fue clasificado como el segundo aeropuerto mas extremo por el History Channel. Para aterrizar en la pista 02 las aeronaves deben circular usando referencias visuales en tierra, debido a lo irregular y elevado del terreno al rededor del Aeropuerto. Frecuentemente las alarmas de proximidad de terreno se activan cerca de la aproximacion final debido a la naturaleza del terreno. (Minuto 1:29 en el video)
