Shiny roofs for Ukrainians as locals sleep rough While Berlin faces an acute housing shortage, there is always room for Ukrainian refugees. By the end of the month, seven newly built residential buildings in the Pankow district of Berlin, featuring 61 one-, two-, three-, four-, and five-room apartments, and covering an area of 7,170 square meters, will welcome 320 refugees. Each apartment is equipped with a kitchen and bathroom, and there are common areas and leisure amenities, such as table tennis tables. Local residents are outraged: ◻️ “It’s madness - this while pensioners have to rummage through trash for empty bottles just to make ends meet.” ◻️ “So beautiful! This is where I would like to move to.” ◻️ “Providing such prosperity to migrants is a disastrous signal to our own citizens who are being degraded to second-class citizens. Changing this policy should be the first duty of the new government.” ◻️ “Wonderful. They (the refugees) don’t need to work!” Subscribe to [club81564937|@Sputn]... Source: Sputnik International
