I made Chirashi-Sushi which is actually pronounced Chirashi-zushi in Japanese. Chirashi-Sushi is also called Scattered-Sushi in English because several kinds of toppings are fully scattered on the top of sushi rice. I put it into a square bento box called Jyu-bako this time, but Chirashi-Sushi is not always in an Jyu-bako. You can decorate on a flat plate or a bowl. I used 4 kinds of seafood(salmon, tuna, scallop, shrimp), nori seaweed, shreded egg, cucumber, snow peas, radish, pickled lotus roots and baby leaf of sansho pepper as toppings! These are typical toppings for Chirashi-Sushi except the last three ingredients. You can use anything you want on your own Chirashi-Sushi like avocado, cream cheese, crab stick(real crabs of course! ), scramble eggs instead of shreded egg, snap peas, seaweed salad, etc!! Play with your Chirashi-Sushi! 【Homemade Sushi Vinegar (for 2 Rice Cooker Cups = 300g = 1 1/4 US cups)】 =50ml =3 1/3 Tbsp rice vinegar 1 1/3
