I hate to admit it but programming tutorials are not realistic. No one is able to code as quickly and as error free as what is shown in tutorials. This doesn’t mean tutorials are bad, but it does mean that you shouldn’t compare yourself to someone in a tutorial video. This person is most likely referencing pre-built code and cutting out any mistakes they make. This makes the tutorial better, but paints an unrealistic impression of what a good programmer looks like. I can assure you that I can’t even code as quickly as I do in my tutorials, so do not let that discourage you. 🧠 Concepts Covered: - Why programming tutorials are a lie - How live stream coding is still not 100% accurate - Why programming tutorials should not emulate real programming - What you can learn from programming tutorials 🌎 Find Me Here: My Blog: My Courses: Patreon: Twitter: Discord: GitHub: CodePen: ⏱️ Timestamps: 00:00 - Introduction 00:20 - All Programmers Create Bugs 02:06 - My Secret To Looking Like A Good Programmer 04:31 - Live Programming Is Also A Lie 06:33 - Everyone Fails #WebDevelopment #WDS #JavaScript
