Hopefully no matter what level your own ukemi is at, you can find something that fits! Ukemi is an important part of Aikido. It is trained so that Uke does not injure him or herself when taking a technique, and proper ukemi ensures that uke can take the technique safely. That is probably the biggest reason that ukemi is trained so intensively in Aikido. Being able to do proper ukemi is needed to properly learn to flow with the techniques, which is why all Aikidoka train ukemi so much.
