Dam collapses 100 meters in Italy! Worst flooding in Ravenna, helicopter evacuation Heavy rain triggered flash floods that caused a river dam to burst in the Italian province of Ravenna on Thursday. The Lamone embankment did not hold and broke right in front of the town, with a wave that crashed against the houses, flooding them quickly.
