In this 1948 recording, the French conductor Roger Désormière (1898-1963) leads the Paris Conservatory Orchestra in a performance of ballet music to Les Sylphides. I created this video from the LP shown above, issued in 1958 on the London / Richmond label, serial number B-199028. A photo of the English ballerina Dame Alicia Markova (1910-2004) is on the cover of the LP jacket (at 4:30). LP label is at 7:14; jacket cover, 8:52.
