Subscribe to our YouTube channel for free here: Desperate crowds continue to gather at Kabul’s airport hoping to catch a flight out of Afghanistan to flee Taliban rule. The hardline group said on August 24, 2021 that they would block Afghans trying to leave the country from going to the airport. Large crowds have massed outside the facility ever since the group seized control of the country on August 15. At least 20 people have been killed in the recent chaos at the airport, mostly due to shootings and stampedes, as international forces try to evacuate their citizens and vulnerable Afghan nationals.
