The first safety is located above the grip on the right side of the rifle. The second safety is the field safety which is located at the top-right side of the cheekpiece. The third safety is the magazine floor plate safety which must only be disengaged by the magazine. NEVER USE ANYTHING OTHER THAN THE MAGAZINE TO PRESS THE MAGAZINE FLOOR PLATE SAFETY.
