🇷🇺Yaks. Republic of Tyva Yaks are amazing animals, strong and hardy, well adapted to the mountains with their cold and thin atmosphere. They do not need any shelter, they can stay outdoors all year round - their long and thick fur keeps them safe in any weather. They eat whatever they can find, the main thing is that the plants should be a little higher than the snow or they can be reached from under it. Yak milk is generally fatter than cow’s milk, which is not surprising - in the mountains you need a lot of energy to survive. In the Republic of Tyva, on Mongolian border, raising domestic yaks is an important part of the national economy.
