Preview Track for the Warhammer themed album I'm currently working on! The goal is to compose a score to retell certain events from the lore of the universe, or compose themes to represent the different factions that belong to it. Support this project on Patreon: “Let the Galaxy Burn“ represents the corrupting forces of Chaos from the Warhammer 40K Universe. Comprised of Traitor Space Marines, Heretic Cultists and Daemons of the Warp, Chaos is one of the most terrifying threats to mankind in the 41st Millenium. From a giant tear in the Warp, “The Eye of Terror“, Chaos spews out into the material world to wreak havoc and vengeance upon the galaxy and to quench the thirst of the four Chaos Gods, also known as The Ruinous Powers. The track I composed follows a fairly recent event in the lore of 40K, namely “The Fall of Cadia“, and is meant to depict the massive Chaos invasion of this Imperial Fortress World, mankind's first line of defense against Chaos. The disharmonic chords at the start and the subsequent upbeat part are meant to represent The Ruinous Powers, while the more heroic themes represent the spirit of mankind, where the Imperial Guardsmen and Loyalist Space Marines stationed there valiantly try to hold off the invasion.
