Kriegsmesser vs. Longsword: Commentary and Analysis on Sparring

Dear Friends, the Messer envolved from Tool to a reliable Weapon in the Arsenal of 16th Century. It was very common among all social classes. In this Video I want to share with you a sparring with two-handes swords: The Longsword vs. Kriegsmesser. The Kriegsmesser (direct Translation Warknife) is taking the simple design from the langes Messer or 16th Hunting Knifes to the next level. It was used for real war campaigns and by trained fighters. The Kriegsmesser is delightful and absolutely lovely to play with. You can you use the same mechanics as Longsword. But is the Design superior to Feder/Langschwert?
