Did you know this in Hazbin Hotel? During episode 4 of hazbin hotel we found out that husk was originally an overlord until he gambled to alastor and lost, becoming his underling. Since this reveal, there’s a chance nifty was an overlord too. Firstly we saw nifty and husk beside alastor during the pilot’s overlord sequence. Since they’re darkened out it could represent how they used to be overlords, but now serve alastor. Secondly we see alastor conjure up beings to help him. However husk and nifty are the two exceptions, since he teleports them in. Again hinting that they’re different than the average demon. And lastly alastor seems to only make deals with powerful demons, seen firsthand during the pilot when he tries to make a deal with charlie. So if nifty was an overlord, how did she gain power? I reckon that she ran a cleaning service in the pride ring. She’d probably kill and clean up demons in record speed, allowing her to gain souls and rise up the ranks.
