Pouishnov (1891-1959) was an Ukrainian composer and pianist. From 1907-10, he studied at the St Petersburg Conservatoire, where he received the Gold Medal and the A. Rubinstein Prize. From 1913-17 taught in Tbilisi and concertized. Settled in London in the 1920’s. Pouishnov wrote a small selection of piano miniatures, as well as an arrangement of the ballet music from “Rosemunde” by Schubert.
