This game was later re-released, but this first version from 1997 was named Quake, and you have to find switches with the Quake logo to open up a door. Also noticable is the loading screen with tributes to several software houses, the main character is based on He-Man, and that the game starts with the sampled speech: I’ll Be Back! Your main enemies in this game are the three big monsters, they are extremely dangerous, and highly lethal. Once they see you, they will track you down, and if they catch up with you they will soon drain your energy. Keep your distance and fire plenty of bullets when these monsters approach. Quake only has one (very tough) level, and the game was re-released in 2016 as The Dark, without the Quake, He-Man and Terminator related stuff, a not so tough first level, and with more levels and more and new enemies: A final and more polished version of the game was released in 2021 as The Dark, Redux:
