Antiseizure drugs are the mainstay of treatment for dogs living with idiopathic epilepsy. Antiseizure drugs also have side effects - the most common being sedation, lethargy and ataxia (wobbliness or lack of coordination). Every dog is different with regard to the medications needed to control their seizures as well as range of side effects experienced. In this segment, Dr. Karen Muñana and Dr. Simon Platt share their perspectives about this common concern expressed by pet owners. Learn more about Canine Epilepsy: Save $10 with PROMO Code: K9Epi
