This is the one that started it all. Looking for a creative way to help local businesses get back on their feet during the pandemic, JayByrd Films shot an FPV drone fly through at Bryant Lake Bowl, a vintage bowling alley in Uptown Minneapolis that has been open since 1935. Flying a Rotor Riot Squirt Cinewhoop with a GoPro HERO8 Black, Jay Christensen utilized his signature one-take fly through to showcase the space. The breathtaking cinematography and sound design caught the attention of film industry heavyweights such as James Gunn (Guardians of the Galaxy) and Lee Unkrich (Coco) as well as The New York Times (read their writeup on our film below!). The video quickly went viral, and the rest is history. Let us know in the comments what you think of the time we took our drone bowling.
