Live Osprey nest camera in Tartu County, Estonia Find out more here: Forum in English: This osprey nest has been observed with a webcam since 2013. Thanks to our donators we have been able to update the webcam system during this time. Currently, we are using optics with a fairly wide-angle lens, which is why the curvature of the Earth is magnified (compared to human eye). However, the camera lens is thus only 1m from the nest. The nest tree is located in an area with old storm damage, where only a few storm-resistant trees have remained. The main events, observations and introductions of inhabitants, etc. can be found in the forum (to be prepared). The ospreys nesting here are called Ivo (color ring ED) and Iiris. 2021:1st egg - 15 April, 2nd egg - 18 April, 3rd egg - 21 April; 1st chick hatched - 22 May, 2nd chick hatched - 24 May, 3rd chick hatched - 26 M
