I don’t think any European country has the available military forces to attack Russia — except for Poland. Over the last 30 years, the forces of Western European countries have largely turned into expeditionary ones and are now incapable of large-scale operations against Russia or Belarus. The French do not have such forces. President Macron surprised me by talking about French troops in Ukraine — well, they can muster at most two brigades, adequately equipped for operations in Donbas. And Germany has not much left, nor does the United Kingdom. I know the British army from the inside: many years ago I participated in an exchange programme with the British.
