Peter Blok: “This week: 10/08-2016, Den Bosch, Verkade Fabriek, the premiere of ‘The New Madonna’. My suggestion is to watch this whole episode, because there are some real musical beauties later on in this episode. Anyway, that’s my impression. Traditionally the theatre producer of the show, Hans Kik, to Anneke’s surprise, personally serves flowers, champagne and “bitterballen’ (a Dutch meat-based snack) at the end of a premiere. No “bitterballen” for Anneke, but… I think it’s also good to know that during this premiere a large group of students from Anneke’s schooldays were in the audience and visited her after the show in the dressing room. We also followed Anneke during a few concerts on this theatre tour. Although we filmed a few interesting moments during those concerts, and we could see that Anneke was growing into the show, I decided to upload only the premiere.
