Shirotaru no Kon by Horikawa Hisami (2018)

Shirotaru no Kon by Horikawa Hisami of Ryukyu Kobudo Seiryukan 琉球古武道清流館 at the “1st Okinawa Karate World Tournament 2018“ in Naha, Okinawa. Shirotaru no Kon is a 5th Dan level kata of Ryukyu Kobudo. The kata was performed only a few times during the whole tournament by a few players, including by both the male and female 1st place winners of the seniors category. Needless to say, it was presented in the best possible quality. Notwithstanding its rare usage together with a high technical level of presentation, this kata has been dropped and cannot be performed at this year's “2nd Okinawa Karate World Tournament 2022“ in Naha, Okinawa.
