Eurostar introduced this direct service between London and Marne-la-vallee on the 29th of June 1996 in the days when Waterloo was used as the the UK terminus before St Pancras. The services has run for 27 years with a brief suspension during the Covid pandemic before being announced in August 2022 it was to be cut due to new EU border controls and the company focusing on core routes as they financially recover from the pandemic.
