When you live in an Oligarchy you have government work on behalf of corporations at the demise of citizens. A tragedy for citizens is an opportunity to turn a profit. Opportunities like this can’t go to waste. Hawaii’s fires will do wonders for the private sector, (which is in bed with the gov as they get bailouts & pay little to 0 in taxes) & amass real estate for the fat cats at top.
