Belgian farmers protest EU-Mercosur trade agreement

Farmers protested outside the European Commission in Brussels against the potential EU-Mercosur trade deal still under negotiation. Although the EU and the bloc comprised of several South American states reached an initial agreement in 2019, opposition from farmers and some European governments has stalled negotiations.
