Live from Pakistan-Afghanistan border as people remain stranded

Ruplty is live from Chaman border crossing between Pakistan and Afghanistan on Saturday, July 17, as people remain stranded unable to either re-enter or leave Afghanistan. The town of Spin Boldak town on the Afghani side of the border is caught in the conflict between Afghan forces and the Taliban, who have reportedly took control over the area. The border crossing for pedestrians re-opened for some time on Saturday, but thousands reportedly remained stationed there. Police used tear gas on Thursday to disperse people trying to storm the border crossing.
