Bio By She Rox All Female Bands: Bio By She Rox All Female Bands: Long Beach,California based Civet began in the late 1990's and soon gained noticed for their fast paced punk rock that has been called similar to the Distillers yet with plenty of Runaways influenced released their debut Ep “Beauty Kills“ in 2000, line-up changes and label changes would follow as well until 2008's “Hell Hath No Fury“, the bands most successful album to date due in part to heavy support from the band's label Hellkat. Although Civet continues on current day with six releases under their belt, and maintaining an all female line up for eight years, the final female lineup would end in 2008 at the height of their career, finally leaving the band to go co-ed, but their fans remain loyal regardless of numerous member changes, for the fact that Civet has earned their punk rock badges and can more then hold their own against their male counterparts regardless of which line-up was in place.
