On March 17th, an EV caught fire in Haikou city, as captured in a video showing dense smoke billowing from underneath the vehicle. Passing vehicles honked in warning and detoured around it. Two minutes later, an explosion occurred under the car, with flames erupting violently from the chassis. The fire quickly spread, engulfing the car in flames, accompanied by battery explosions.
