Take Down Leaf Spring (steel) PVC Recurve Bow - diy takedown bow limbs! steel and PVC but no skis

Making A Bow Out Of A Leaf Spring I found an old leaf spring at the local salvage yard and thought it would make a great bow. This thread shows how to make a takedown bow not with laminated limbs but with a solid one made from leaf spring to be fitted inside two pieces of flattened PVC pipes, but there is no plan for the riser which would be the most interesting point.
