Coming back for the 2025 model year and in its 10th generation is the Honda Civic Hybrid, a popular electrified compact poised to enter production in 2024 in Canada. Following that the hatchback will join the line up at Honda’s Indiana factory, and the overall news is very exciting! While many details are still yet to be revealed, it has been released that the Civic will come back in both sedan and hatchback variants! There has been a large push for electrified and electric vehicles in the brand, and this is the result! The Hybrid for 2025, though, comes back strong, and consists of a Atkinson inline-four and the two-motor hybrid system, similar to what is currently available in the Accord Hybrid and CR-V Hybrid. It’s still too soon to determine if the Civic Hybrid will get a slightly different tune, but by comparison the already revealed CR-V Hybrid in Europe uses this Atkinson cycle four-cylinder to make 181 hp and 232 lb-ft of torque.
