Light Show and Night Concert 2012 on the floating stage at the Grass and Korenlei in the historical heart of the City of Ghent Belgium featuring world-renowned artists like Lluís Claret (cello), Ann Niepold (accordion), The Cold Steel Drummers (brass and percussion with rhythmic choreography / American drumline). Final act of the evening was performed by the mesmerizing Russian soprano Julia Lezhneva. A grand Fireworks display ended this truly enchanting late evening concert. OdeGand, the prestigious opening event of the Ghent Festival, celebrates its 10 th anniversary with an exceptionally diverse range of cultural creativity and a pleiad of top performers in the field of Classical music, Jazz and World Music; more than 180 concerts are programmed featuring over 1500 artists. OdeGand runs from the 15 th to the 29 th of September 2012 on various locations in Ghent.
