For anyone curious on the filming/export mistake I made- I filmed this at 24fps and exported through Final Cut editing software but in a project setup at 25fps. I actually didn’t realise this was the case or that it would make any difference until a while later when I noticed my face time and the official race time were different. At first I thought it was their mistake until I noticed the other racers’ video was in agreement with the race time so I investigated further and discovered that the 25fps project meaning the video has 25frames(still images) per second had 24frames per second footage in it, effectively shortening the video/race time by 1frame in every 25! Good lesson for the future and glad everyone has enjoyed the video anyway!
