today we have something special! yes, it's new age again, but not quite. Melon Brains is a very rare game that was released only on laserdisc (LD) format (predecessor of the DVD), but did not gain cult status or popularity like Ecco The Dolphin from SEGA as well. however, this is not so much of a game but rather a multimedia disc with videos, lectures, presentations and interviews (including, for example, with John Lilly) on the subject of dolphin consciousness, language, habits and many other things. A whole huge team from Sega worked on the soundtrack, including Hiroki Okano, but it was never released officially. this cassette is essentially a bootleg made from a fresh LD rip by @_kanisama with much better audio quality compared to the previous rips by @LAPProject, even though they were essential for many to discover this LD existence and enjoy it. the cassette was released by Spencer Clark (Monopoly Child, Skaters, etc.) at his Pacific City label and videos i'm putting here to accompany it are both from LAPProject and Matt Parker. huge thanks to everyone involved in keeping this unique project alive and to all Melon Brains creators, you did an amazing work!
