Senior Gabon military officials have appointed the head of the transitional government, after the country was shaken by a military coup. Earlier on Wednesday, senior Gabonese army officers declared they had seized power, placing President Ali Bongo under house arrest while his son was detained for ’treason and corruption’. RT’s Noluvuyo Kunge reports on the latest developments in the country.
