Kathmandu police canine unit performs on 'Day of the Dogs'

The Hindu festival of Tihar, the second day of which is known as Kukur Tihar, or ’Day of the Dogs’, was celebrated in the capital of Nepal. The Nepal Police Canine Division marked the event as well with a fun day for the good boys, to appreciate the devoted work of the dogs throughout the year. The police pooches ran through an obstacle course, showed their investigative abilities, and received a flower reward and a red paint Tika mark on their forehead as a blessing.
